Design Process
We understand that designing a web site can be confusing. We try to make the process simple and painless for you.
Here is the design process.
1. Consult with you about your design work
2. Quote your design work
3. Register your domain
4.Secure your web hosting
5. Design your site, with any graphics that you requested
5. Upload and launch your site
6. Submit your site to the most popular web searches
7. Maintain your site
Lets go into detail about each step.
1. Consult
You will contact us by either email or filling out our quote request form.
This is where we will gather as much information that is needed to provide a quote for design project.
2. Quote
We review the information that you sent us for your design project and provide you with a quote for your project. This will include all the items that you want in your design and also a time frame. This will take us to the next phase of signing a contract and beginning working on your design.
3. Compensation for services
After you have received the quote and approve it. We send out a contract that will spell out the time line, price and any other information. We will not begin work until the contract is returned to us signed. The contract can be returned by fax, email or mail.
We must also receive your non refundable deposit of 35% of the quote, along with all the contract, and all information needed for the site, such as images, information, etc.
If we are registering your domain name and site hosting are due at the time of the contract is signed and is non refundable.
Time schedule for payment is followed:
1. 35% Non refundable deposit due at the signing of the contract
2. 35% is due when he project is halfway complete
3. 30% due when the project is complete (this due before the site will be uploaded to go live)
4. Register and Hosting
If you need to have your domain name register we can take care of that for you and also can help in securing web hosting services. The price of this will be included in the quote.
5. Getting your information to us
There will be several ways that you can get information to us.
1. We will provide a FTP login, so that you can upload your information to us
2. You can email us the information (this will work only with smaller files)
3. You can mail us the information ( Please use a way that can be tracked- We can not be reasonable for any information that is lost in shipment.)
6. Designing your site
Once we get your information, we will begin designing your site, Once we have each page completed we will email you so that you check on the page out and make any design changes that time. We will email you a username and password to get into a secure area of our site so that you can check on the process of your design. YOu will get to approve the design throughout the process.
7. How Long does it take?
Most sites will take between 2 to 6 weeks, depending on the complexity of the design. This also will depend on how long it takes for you to get the information needed to start and complete the design. You will have a time line listed in the contract on when the design will be completed.
We will never take more work then we can handle. If we can not do the job in time then we will not take the job.
8. Launching your site
Once the design work is done and approved, we will launch your site.
Please note that we will not upload or turn over your site until final payment is made.
9. Submit your site to the major Search Engines
We will submit your site to the major search engines. Please note that once we submit your domain to the search engines that it is out of our hands. We have no control over how or when they index your site.
10. Maintenance of your Site
Once the site is designed, you have two choices on maintenance of your site, you can maintain your site or can have us maintain your site for you. For more information on our maintenance plans click here
